TYSONS, Virginia-The Multicultural Chamber Alliance (MCCA), a powerful collaborative initiative of the Asian American Chamber, the Northern Virginia Black Chamber and the Virginia Hispanic Chamber, invites the press and general public to attend the Annual Candidates Forum.

The Candidates Forum will take place Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 10 am- 12 pm, at the University of North America (12750 Fair Lakes Circle) in Fairfax, Virginia.

Confirmed attendees include:
Gubernatorial Candidates: Terry McAuliffe and Glenn Youngkin
Lieutenant Gubernatorial Candidates: Hala Ayala and Winsome Sears
Attorney General Candidates: Mark Herring and Jason Miyares

Emcee will be Peggy Fox with Dominion Energy. 

This event will be open to the press, free to the public and shared on Facebook Live.   According to a recent study, compiled by the Northern Virginia Minority-Owned Businesses Working Group, at the end of 2019, just before the COVID-19 pandemic took hold in the United States, Northern Virginia was home to an estimated 128,000 minority-owned businesses – 42% of all establishments. These businesses include approximately 26,000 with paid staff and 102,000 self-employed and family run businesses. (Experience Builder System. (n.d.). https://experience.arcgis.com/).

About the Multicultural Chamber Alliance: Established in 2013, the Asian American Chamber of Commerce, Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce, and Virginia Hispanic Chamber forged a partnership called the Multicultural Chamber Alliance (MCCA).
