We will be picking back up in September, and registration is open.

Join the Advocacy Committee! We have made strides over the years in our efforts to ensure you voice is heard at local, state and federal levels. Let's keep on course as we develop an advocacy framework for 2023. Here are a few activities we will participate in and look forward to your engagement and volunteer efforts. Chamber Day at the Capitol, Economic Forum, Roundtable Discussions with our elected officials.

Our Mission: 

The mission of the advocacy committee is to provide leadership for

issues impacting black owned businesses and advocating for good policies

and process and regulate on behalf black owned businesses.

Develop and deepen relationships with Virginia/Federal legislators, governing

authorities and economic development agencies within the communities the

Northern Virginia Chamber represents.

Identify barriers impacting black owned businesses.

Recommend policies and structural changes to policy maker and local

government authorities.
